Before Dr. Pets was a brand, Lica was just our dog. This is her story — and the reason all of this exists.
She was just our dog.
Naman and Anuj brought Lica home in 2019 — a Dalmatian with too much energy and a spot for every occasion. Like every dog person, they wanted to feed her well. That's where the trouble started.
We couldn't find food we trusted.
Homemade took hours, every day. The bags on the shelf didn't add up — vague ingredients, big claims, no way to see what was really inside. Lica deserved better than a guess. So we stopped guessing.
So we made it ourselves.
Naman went to Kansas to learn how dog food is actually made. Anuj went looking for suppliers we'd trust with our own kitchen. We built a facility in Jaipur, put fresh chicken first, and made the food we wished we could buy — and named it after the dog who started it all.
